https://gitlab.com/krzysztof.cieslewicz1/barshopper

BARshopper is a simple project showing how to easily use Nav3 with list/detail pane + transition animations, together with some other amazing Android features, including barcode scanning, movableContentOf or LazyColumn with different item types. Kudos to Krzysztof Cieślewicz for creating and sharing it.

KoCache: A Coroutine-Native Loading Cache

https://codeberg.org/aasplund/KoCache

KoCache is a thread-safe, coroutine-based caching library for Kotlin. It provides a loading cache implementation designed for high-concurrency environments, featuring request coalescing (thundering herd protection), active TTL eviction, and LRU capacity enforcement.

The library utilizes Kotlin’s Deferred and Mutex primitives to synchronize access, ensuring that concurrent requests for the same missing key result in a single execution of the loader function.

https://twitter.com/kotlin/status/2085405567330275662

Calf can help you request runtime permissions, Compass can retrieve and work with location data, and kmp-maps can display it through a shared map UI.

🔐 Calf – manage runtime permissions, including location access, in Compose Multiplatform apps. kotl.in/253xst

🧭 Compass – add geolocation, location tracking, geocoding, and reverse geocoding. kotl.in/7e2745

🗺️ kmp-maps – build map-based interfaces across Android, iOS, and desktop. kotl.in/41nmrg

Together, they cover the path from requesting access to retrieving and displaying location data. Find more Kotlin Multiplatform libraries on Klibs.io 👇 kotl.in/dqz8t2
